Hi, I'm Gaël —
and dogs have always been my thing.

I grew up with dogs around me. Not as pets in the background — as actual family members who deserved the best. So when I got Ollie and Betty Sue, naturally I went a little overboard trying to find them the coolest, most useful, most fun products out there.

The problem? Most pet stores online are overwhelming, generic, or just... boring. Thousands of products, zero curation. You never really know if something is actually good or just well-marketed.

So I started The Pet Edit — a store where every single product has been hand-picked by me, a real dog owner who genuinely cares. If I wouldn't buy it for Ollie and Betty Sue, it doesn't make the cut. Simple as that.

How we got here

2024
Ollie joins the family. One week later, Gaël has already ordered 47 products from 12 different pet stores. Most of them were terrible.
2025
Betty Sue joins the family. She was my grandmother's dog. When we lost her, Betty Sue came to live with us — and from day one, her and Ollie were inseparable. She brought a lot of comfort during a hard time. Quality Control was officially open for business.
Mid 2025
The idea is born. After one too many disappointing online orders, Gaël decides to build the pet store he wished existed. Only the good stuff. Zero filler.
Now
The Pet Edit launches. A small two dogs, one human, and a curated collection of products that have all passed the Ollie & Betty Sue test.
