Welcome to The Pet Edit. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By using this website, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence, or that you have given us your consent to allow any minor dependents to use this site under your supervision.
3. Products
We sell pet-related products, including snuffle mats. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis.
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, images, and details as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, colors, specifications, or other content on the site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
4. Dropshipping Fulfillment
The Pet Edit operates on a dropshipping model. Products are shipped directly from third-party suppliers. Because of this, fulfillment and delivery times are estimates only and may vary based on supplier processing, carrier performance, customs issues, weather events, or other factors outside of our control.
5. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory issues, duplicate orders, suspected resale activity, or inaccurate billing/shipping information.
If your order has not yet shipped, we may cancel it and issue a refund at our discretion. If your order has already shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible and our return policy will apply instead.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.
We accept payment methods made available through Shopify, Stripe, and other payment providers enabled on our store, which may include major credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets, and other approved methods.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to pricing, promotions, product descriptions, shipping charges, transit times, or availability, and to cancel or refuse any order placed based on incorrect information.
7. Shipping
We currently ship to addresses within the United States only. Shipping is free unless otherwise stated on the website.
Estimated order processing time is up to 7 business days. Estimated delivery time after shipment is up to 25 business days. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
We are not liable for shipping carrier delays, customs delays, lost packages caused by incorrect addresses entered by the customer, weather disruptions, force majeure events, or other delays outside of our reasonable control.
If we become aware that we cannot ship within the time stated above, we may contact you regarding the delay and provide options consistent with applicable law.
8. Returns and Refunds
Please review our Refund Policy for full details. In summary, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery for items that are unused, unworn, in original condition, and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.
Refunds are processed after the returned item is received and inspected. Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless required by law.
9. Customer Accounts
You may have the option to create an account on our website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account caused by your failure to safeguard your login information.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our site or services:
- for any unlawful purpose;
- to violate any law or regulation;
- to infringe intellectual property rights;
- to upload malicious code or harmful material;
- to commit fraud or abuse our policies;

Our products are intended for lawful and appropriate use only. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring safe and proper use of any product purchased from us, including supervision of pets during use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Pet Edit is not liable for injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising out of misuse, improper handling, failure to supervise, or use inconsistent with product instructions or warnings.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Pet Edit and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, personal injury, property damage, or similar damages arising from your use of the site or purchase or use of any product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to any order or product shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product giving rise to the claim.
15. Chargebacks and Fraud Prevention
By placing an order, you agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks. If you experience an issue with your order, you agree to contact us first at hello@pethedit.com so we may attempt to resolve the issue.
We reserve the right to contest chargebacks where proof of delivery, customer communication, order confirmation, tracking updates, or evidence of fraud or abuse exists.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Pet Edit and its affiliates, partners, suppliers, and service providers from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the site, or violation of any law or rights of a third party.
17. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the site, or any purchase from The Pet Edit shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration in the State of Illinois, rather than in court, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.
You and The Pet Edit agree that any dispute resolution proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Illinois law shall govern these Terms, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where preempted by applicable federal law.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
